Baglio Onuri Nerello Mascalese, Terre Siciliane, 2019, Italy
Nerello Mascalese is often likened to fine Pinot Noir. Elegant in the mouth, with ripe tannins, fresh acidity, and a very long balsamic and fruity persistence.

Nerello Mascalese is a native grape primarily grown on volcanic soils on Mount Etna, Sicily.
It has a similar taste profile to Pinot Noir, the full body wine hits your mouth with a strong scent of black & red forest fruits, red flowers, humus, framed by spicy and mineral notes.
It’s a good pair with dishes with tomato sauce , beef , chicken & duck.
